JSC to conduct public interviews for the selection of judges for Sadc administrative tribunal

The Judiciary Service Commission in Zimbabwe will be conducting public interviews for the selection of two nominees for consideration to constitute a pool of judges for the Sadc administrative tribunal (Sadcat).
In a notice the commission said the on November 5 2015 it invited expressions of interest by suitably qualified persons for consideration for appointment to the pool of judges for the Sadc administrative tribunal.
"Six applications were received. From these, two nominees will be submitted for consideration to constitute a pool of judges for the tribunal," reads the notice. "The JSC will on Thursday January 14 2016 commence at 9am and at Rainbow Towers Hotel Jaranda Room interview the following six applicants, Justice Francis Bere (based in Bulawayo), Justice Martin Makonese of Bulawayo, Justice Manase, justice Maunga, Justice Munangati Manongwa and Justice Zhou."
JSC said the interviews will be open to the media and members of the public.
