Police probes murder and suicide case

Tatitown Police are investigating a case in Borolong village where a man killed his wife and their neighbour before turning the gun on himself on Monday afternoon.
The Voice reported Tatitown Police Station Commander, Cyprian Magalila, told The Voice in an interview that the suspect, a 46 year old man of Mokwena ward in Borolong shot and killed his 43 year old wife, a neighbour aged 40 before taking his own life.
"A neighbour alerted the police after hearing multiple gunshots. When the police arrived there they found a man and a woman lying in blood," said Magalela.
He further said another victim was still breathing when they arrived but his body had bullet wounds."We took both of them to Nyangagbwe Hospital and the two were certified dead on arrival when the other man succumbed to his wounds early Tuesday morning," he said.
Magalela said the 46 year old man and the 43 old woman were husband and wife while the other man was the neighbour.
He said since all the three people who witnessed the shooting are now dead, their investigations will be centered around close family members and neighbours.
"Investigations are at a preliminary stage. We found a shot-gun at the scene of crime and we suspect it was the one used in the killings," said Magalela.
