PALESA Mothibi's mechanic boyfriend must be the most jealous man in all Mzansi.
He flies into a rage whenever she wears tight, bum-hugging jeans or even dares to stand next to another man.
Daily Sun reported that so when Palesa had her car fixed by another mechanic, he snapped – and attacked her car!
The 38-year-old from Meadowlands, Soweto told Daily Sun her boyfriend's jealousy reached new heights with the destruction of her car.
She said her boyfriend, Theophilus Morake (40), came to her house on Saturday to fetch her car.
The next moment Palesa heard the sound of breaking windows. She found Theophilus smashing her car windows.
She said he accuses her of going out to parties every weekend, even though she's always home.
When she wears a figure-hugging jean or new dress, Theophilus allegedly accuses her of charming her colleagues with her curves.
"It's like he doesn't want to see me clean and beautiful. He wants me dirty," she said.
Palesa said his jealous rage might come from her refusal to let him fix her car. Her car was damaged and wasn't moving until last year when she took it to another mechanic. "Theophilus is a mechanic and he wanted to fix the car," she said. "When he didn't get to fix the car, he must have grown bitter. What kind of person smashes someone else's car? I use that car to go to work, and now I have no means of transport," she said, adding that after the latest incident she didn't want to be with him any more.
Daily Sun spoke to Theophilus, who said: "Write the article. Why do you want to ask questions about things you don't know? F**k you! You're f**king that girl. I'll get you."
Meadowlands police spokeswoman Sergeant Octavia Thebe confirmed that a case of malicious damage to property was opened.
