Founder of Lord's Propeller Redemption Church has issued a spiritual directive to all women attending his church to do so without wearing underwear so that Jesus Christ can enter their lives.
According to reports reaching Malawi24, the Church's senior prophet, only identified as Reverend Njohi, will personally be checking the female congregants to make sure they are not wearing anything inside.
"In a meeting chaired by him, a law was passed banning the wearing of inner wears. Njohi claims that when going to church, people need to be free in 'body' and 'spirit' to receive Christ.
"He strongly cautioned his church members of grave consequences should they decided to disobey his commands and put on underwear without his knowledge" reads the iMzansi report.
The pastor has also banned women from wearing braas.
With the booming of self-anointed men of God across the region, there have a public outcry for governments to start regulating prophets and other Pentecostal churches. Malawi has registered it's own fair share of questionable prophets.
