THE Eastern Cape cops are on the hunt for a dangerous man who escaped from police custody.
The Hawks are requesting anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ayanda Ngabase to come forward.
He is believed to be aged between 25 and 30.
He escaped from the King Williams Town Magistrates Court in December last year where he was appearing in court for a house robbery case.
Ngabase was also bust for the murder of Fikile Jilaji, who was killed at his home in Dimbaza in July last year.
Eastern Cape Hawks spokeswoman Captain Anelisa Feni said the suspect is originally from Port Elizabeth.
"He is considered to be dangerous.
"Anyone with information should call Warrant Officer Mcebisi Qakala on 079 508 9596, or contact their nearest police station," Feni told Daily Sun.
