Authors pen another FRS book

BULAWAYO based author Witness Dingani and Harare based authors Laison Mwiinde, Brian Maregedze have collaborated in authoring Family and Religious Studies textbook titled, Advanced Level Family and Religious Studies Focus on Christianity and Islam, which will be launched on 13th of January 2018 in Bulawayo.

Speaking through telephone interview, the Director of Drilliate Publishers expressed optimism arguing that, "this book will definitely assist Upper six students and teachers in preparing for the Family and Religious Studies subject as a whole".

The year 2017 was started with some challenges on textbooks to use for specific areas but with 2018 impending, authors have done their part and the new book covers aspects on Christianity and Islam. On Christianity, broad aspects shall be dealt with for instance, tenets of Christianity, Ministry and life of Jesus among others.

Interestingly, Islam will be dealt with, questions on the nature of the religion, critical discussions with case studies on various themes around Islam as a religion. Many myths shall be dispelled as the authors carried out their field researches the whole year as well as using their experiences with the Islamic communities in Zimbabwe.

Witness Dingani and others earlier on this year wrote a book for the lower six students, Family and Religious Studies. Laison Mwiinde an experienced author has also written many articles for Advanced level candidates, Sociology through Questions and Answers among others.

Lastly, another author Brian Maregedze who is a young academic, high school consultant, blogger has written many articles for humanities candidates strengthens this team of authors who are ready to see the quality of reading material for students, teachers improving and increasing.

Speaking in an interview, Witness Dingani noted that, "problems of reading material are now a thing of the past as we prepare for 2018…"
