UCE demands $2500 fees arrears from students before re-admission

The United College of Education is reportedly demanding payment of $2 500 fees arrears, which students owe the institution, before they could be admitted for studies.

This has been revealed by Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe Secretary general Raymond Majongwe.

"UCE Teachers College in Byo has demanded that all returning students of Intake 16 pay up to 2500$ fees arrears for admission which is absurd," he said.

He appealed to Ministry of Higher, Tertiary Science and Technology to intervene in the matter.
