It's dangerous for schools to collect exam papers on day of writing

THE Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (PTUZ) has said the move by Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (Zimsec) to say in order to prevent examinations leakages schools are supposed to collect the examination papers from local centres on the day of writing and return answer scripts on the same day was very dangerous.

Zimsec has ordered schools have to collect the examination question papers on the day they are written from local examination centres to their schools and submit the answer scripts on the same day.

PTUZ in a statement described the new measures as dangerous.

Ordinary level and Advance level students starts writing their examinations tomorrow.
