Mugabe caps 2003 NUST graduands

	President Mugabe, who is also the Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Friday capped 2003 students, two of them posthumously, at the institution's 19th graduation ceremony.
Speaking at the occasion, the institutions Vice Chancellor, Professor Lindela Ndlovu, said the institution is equipping students to become key in the industrial sector of the country.
Professor Ndlovu said as the government is rebuilding the industrial sector, there must be investment in research as research is the backbone of the industrial sector.
The Vice Chancellor bemoaned the number of female graduates which were below 40 percent, saying the institution desires to see more female students going into science and technical subjects.
