A-level results expected before month-end

THE Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council (Zimsec) has revealed that the A-level examination results would be out before the end of the month as marking had since been completed and the results were now being processed.

"Marking has been completed for A-level exams and marks are being processed and results should be expected before the end of the month with O-level subjects that are marked manually also complete and ready for grading," said Ms Dzvukutu.

Meanwhile, the examination body is reportedly having problems with the new e-marking system which is down and likely to delay the release of the 2013 O-level examination results.

Although the examinations body could not confirm the possible delay, officials claimed they were merely facing "infrastructure and technical problems" that were delaying the marking of three "big" O-level subjects.
