Mugabe caps 1 679 CUT graduands

The Chancellor of the Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) President Robert Mugabe has conferred degrees to 1 679 graduands at a ceremony held at the institution.
186 of the graduands were conferred with the Master of Science in Strategic Management degree.
CUT council chairman Professor Robson Mafoti expressed enthusiasm at the achievements the university has attained within a short period and attributed its successes to a governance system underpinned by transparency and accountability.
He applauded the university Vice Chancellor Professor David Simbi for winning the Zimbabwe Institute of Management National Manager of the Year Award in the public service category.
Professor Simbi bemoaned the absence of appropriate learning infrastructure which he said negatively impacts on the institution's quest to realise possible science, technology, and innovation advancement for national economic development.
