The First Lady, Grace Mugabe says Zimbabweans have distinguished themselves well in the sphere of education and it is time that the country provided beautiful infrastructure for future generations.

Addressing thousands of students from all institutions of higher learning, Mugabe said next year will see the first batch from her children's home starting grade one at her state of the art Grace Mugabe Junior School.

She said the school should provide a model for upgrading schools infrastructure countrywide as most existing schools are old and need a facelift.

The First Lady added that she is embarking on the building of another state of the art structure which will house the Grace Mugabe High School, which together with the junior school, should finance the charity work at the children's home.

She also spoke of her future plans of building the Robert Mugabe university.

Explaining her philanthropic work at the children's home, Mugabe explained that the project is from the bottom of her heart and that she does not accept second hand clothes.

She implored Zimbabweans to cherish the gift of giving whole-heartedly, explaining how she established the home for orphaned children and how she does her best to ensure those children live comfortably.
