The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council Ordinary Level examinations have commenced with students saying they are confident of excelling.
The Ordinary Level students were this Monday taking on their first subjects which include fashion and fabrics, woodwork and metalwork.
On Tuesday O-level students took on practical subjects in the morning whilst in the afternoon they grappled with Statistics Paper 1 and French Paper 2.
The students say they have prepared adequately for the examinations and say they are aiming at passing all their exams.
To curb cases of examinations leakages, ZIMSEC recently announced that it will introduce electric seals and remotely controlled smart keys.
This will enable examinations to be opened from one location by the examinations body, a few minutes before the students write.
For the O-level students, the final examination will be on the 20th of November where they will sit for practicals in Computer Studies and Business Studies Paper 2.
