Zimbabwe's education has taken a new thrust of producing graduates that can create employment rather than wait to be absorbed by existent companies.

This was said by Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa while commissioning computers and a class room block at Dambudzo Primary School in Kwekwe.

The new education curriculum that was recently approved by cabinet is expected to start in 2016.

During a briefing at the Kwekwe Civic Centre, Mnangagwa revealed that government availed twenty million dollars that will go towards the construction of new schools across the country as it moves towards increasing education accessibility especially in resettlement areas.

The initiative is a partial fulfilment of President Robert Mugabe's vision of building an educated nation, said Mnangagwa.
