Nengasha Primary school Hwange East face imminent closure as it has no single teacher, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.
The only teacher who took care off all grades and acted as school head last term didn't show up when the third term began last week.
This has left pupils stranded, weeks before Grade seven pupils write their final examinations.
Early this year education officials were forced to transfer the only qualified female teacher at the school, 17 kilometres from Hwange National Park after she tendered in an urgent application arguing that she was pregnant and could no longer cope with the "harsh" environment.
