A local men's advocacy group has yesterday urged Zimbabweans to fight TB by practicing strict hygiene.
Padare Men's Forum, which rallies men to shun violence against women and anti-social behaviour, took time to reach out to the Epworth community by handing over several refuse collection bins, after an organised cleanup campaign.
The Epworth residents who commended the gesture by the organisation pledged to continue practicing strict standards of hygienic to prevent TB.
The 24th of March is a day set aside by the international community to commemorate World TB Day.
Zimbabwe has a TB prevention and treatment programme in place which seeks to eliminate the disease which has re-emerged as a serious health threat to thousands of people due to weak immunity as a result of HIV and Aids.
