Mpilo gets surgical sundries donation

A BULAWAYO businessperson, who chose to remain anonymous, has donated surgical sundries worth $15 000 to Mpilo Central Hospital.
Acting public relations officer for Mpilo Central Hospital Ms Ethel Mcingolwane said the donation will go a long way in improving health care delivery.
"As Mpilo Central Hospital we are very grateful to companies and individuals that are assisting in the prograwrae to equip the hospital," she
said.
Meanwhile, the hospital will launch a strategic resource mobilisation project next month.
Chief executive officer for Mpilo Central Hospital Dr Lawrence Mantiziba said the target was to raise $3 million to fund the programme to re-equip the hospital.
"We are launching a strategic resource mobilisation project, which is meant to mobilise the business community, the corporate world, the residents and churches so that they all support our endeavour to refurbish as well as re-equip the hospital.
"The fundraising activities kick off on 14 December 2012 with a dinner at a local hotel," said Dr Mantiziba.
Dr Mantiziba said it was pleasing to note that organisations, companies and individuals were donating generously to.
