ARVs fully stocked

HARARE - Director of Aids and Tuberculosis Unit in Health and Child Care ministry, Owen Mugurungi has said the Government has enough stock of single dose anti-retroviral drugs for the estimated 1.3 mln HIV positive people.

He said Government was switching to the new single dose as stipulated in the new guidelines. He said although government was working on putting all people living with the virus on ARVs, the challenge was that the majority of Zimbabweans do not seek HIV testing and counselling services.
