Minister of Health and Child Care David Parirenyatwa is locked in a marathon closed door meeting with Mpilo Central Hospital officials.
Speculation is rife at the institution that several officials including CEO Lawrance Mantiziba could be sacked.
The health facility has been rocked with several multi-million tender scandals.
Hospital sources said Parirenyatwa is angry at the allegations.
"The boss is angry at the allegations and heads will roll" said the official.
The other two affected officials are operations director Duduza Regina Moyo and finance director Charles Govo
Moyo allegedly subverted tender procedures and prejudiced the hospital of millions of dollars while Govo allegedly authorised payments to companies and individuals without tax clearances, going against the State Procurement Board (SPB) that guides procurement procedure in public institutions.
Mantiziba, the overseer, allegedly failed to put in place measures to safeguard against tender corruption in the hospital.
Dr Parirenyatwa is likely to announce suspension pending dismisal and a full scale audit.
The minister is expected to address the media tonight.
The closed meeting started at 3:15pm and by 5:30pm it was still on.
