Health time bomb at Rimuka Township

Health time bomb is ticking in Rimuka Light Industrial site comonly known as the Kumshop as the toilets are reportedly not functioning posing a serious threat to human life.

Berina Community Radio Station reported that a Health time bomb is ticking in the Rimuka Light Industrial site commonly referred to as Kumashop.

"There in not even one functioning public toilet," reported the community radio.

" It must be known that the site relied on public toilets before. The toilets are in a state of disrepair. The residents and workers are now forced to use the nearby bushes and some other secluded places. There are now genuine fears of Typhoid and Cholera in the area."

The authorities are reportedly reluctant to rehabilitated the toilets and it is not clear as to whether they have financial problems or they are not willing to alleviate the problem.
