Two female students from Centenary high school were diagnosed with typhoid disease on Friday last week at Mvurwi hospital.
It is alleged the school has been hit by the outbreak of typhoid and students at the school are living in fear of the deadly disease.
Water crises is a thorn in the flesh in Centenary, at the school they get water from a tractor drawn bowser there by posing high risk of water born diseases.
Christopher Chinyandura of Avalon farm Centenary said they do not know tapped water for 10 years that they have stayed at the farm.
"We drink water straight from Westbern dam and to get to that source it is a gigantic task as we have to talk 5kilometers to get water," he said.
Chinyandura bemoaned politicians who come vote buying with fake promises.
"Our problem here in Centenary is our grievances falls on deaf ears, politicians come and promise to drill boreholes women ululate man jump up and down in ecstasy but when they are voted they disappear for good."
Meanwhile, it is now the second time in six months typhoid has visited Centenary as the ministry of health once closed all take aways and vendor tables.
