A 48-year-old Chinese man, Yu Yinliang's face has 'melted', decades after he suffered an accident as a toddler.
Yu seriously damaged the left side of his face in a fall when he was just three years old.
Due to the poverty in his village and substandard medical treatment, the broken bones in his face were never properly treated.
Because his fractured bones never healed properly, over the years the whole left side of his face has slipped.
Now the his face appears to have melted, with his ear hanging down by his mouth.
To add to his misery, when Yu was 13 years old, he and his brother both started to develop mysterious bumps all over their bodies.
Doctors have diagnosed the pair with several different conditions, the latest of which is neurofibromatosis.
