A Burmese airliner packed with Christmas tourists has crash-landed in central Burma, killing at least two people and injuring 11.
Burmese state television reports that four foreigners were among the injured.
The fatalities included an 11-year-old passenger on the plane thought to be a Burmese citizen and a man riding a motorcycle on the road where the plane came down on December 25.
The Air Bagan flight was carrying 63 passengers -- 51 of them foreigners -- and six crew members.
The airline described the incident as an "emergency landing."
But Burmese authorities said the pilot mistook the road for a runway because of fog.
They say the aircraft made a hard landing on the road and caught on fire after coming to a stop in a rice paddy field.
