New MDC-T UK and Ireland chairman elected

TONDERAI Samanyanga was last night elected MDC-UK and Ireland chairman in a closely contested provincial elections presided over by MDC-T's Lovemore Moyo in Britain's city of Leeds.
Samanyanga succeeds Jonathan Chawora who was sacked last year following allegations of mismanaged party funds in the United Kingdom.
There are unconfirmed reports that the Madamombe camp is disgruntled and voiced their concern for what for a "deeply flawed" election process.
Lovemore Moyo insisted that the process was transparent and clean as the counting of votes was done in the presence of contestants.
Soon after being declared winner, Samanyanga said before executing any party activities, his first task would be to unite a deeply divided province.
