The International Carnival de Victoria procession has begun in the Seychelles with Zimbabwean musician, Suluman Chimbetu giving a splendid performance attracting hundreds of people.
Out of the 26 countries that are participating in the carnival, Zimbabwe is fourth in the 5km long procession which is characterised by song and dance from different countries across the world.
The performers are outshining each other in a bid to scoop the best float award, an accolade which Zimbabwe walked away with last year.
Among the Zimbabwean delegation is Mashonaland East Senator, Chief Enos Musarurwa and Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) Chief Executive, Karikoga Kaseke.
International Carnival de Victoria is fast becoming a major event on the international calendar.
This year, Zimbabwe is co-organising the event with Seychelles, Madagascar and the Reunion.
