As more questions keep mounting regarding the murder of Caroline Nyumwai Mkurazhizha 23, the less the amount of; substantive information that is being released or disseminated out to the public by the Crown.

A publication ban was recently issued on the case; ascertaining to certain information, being withheld regarding information on the case against Mohamed Adam Bharwani 18. According to Court Officials; more stringent publication guidelines may or may not, be asked by the defense or crown as the case progresses.

Mohamed Adam Bharwani 18, the alleged killer had his case again adjourned to May the 2nd via Video Conference from his prison, his lawyer was not available for comment at the time of this release. However as this murder case continues to wind its way through the legal system, more questions keep rising, as people within the Zimbabwe-Canada Community lack any information to whether or not the Crown has enough evidence to lodge a successful case against the alleged assailant of Caroline Mkurazhizha.

As homicides continue to rise within Toronto, the Mkurazhizha case (Homicide #5 for 2013), appears to be; becoming a statistic within the greater fabric of crime in Toronto. lack of Zimbabwe Organizations within Canada, to actively follow-up on the case is relegating it to, probably being settled and plead out between the defense lawyers and the crown far from the view of the world. At the release of this press release the lead prosecutor is not yet official or has not yet chosen to release his/her contact information for the press to ask questions.

David Steinberg the Defense Lawyer for Mohamed Bharwani, has also not been available for comment regarding the case, a press statement from him should be expected soon after his team; have had time to go through the disclosure and viewed the evidence against Mr Bharwani . Unfortunately, due to the fact that Caroline Mkurazhizha was a foreigner, there has been no one within Canada actively representing her interests within the Canada-media system, resulting in this slow and elaborate manner in which this case appears to avoid making any pages of a local newspaper.

More efforts will continue to be made regarding the manner in which; this case is handled and as of now, no comment/press release has been received from the Embassy of Zimbabwe in Ottawa, regarding how they are helping with this case or with the family.
