The Law & you: Rumbidzai Bvunzawabaya
Zimbabwean legal specialist in the United Kingdom is breaking new ground in effort to extend her expert advice to the Zimbabwean communities in Britain and beyond.
Rumbidzai Bvunzawabaya who has practice in Coventry and Birmingham is well known in the Zimbabwean community and is highly respected for her advice and representation in many various cases among Zimbabweans in diaspora.
She has been a formidable columnist on New Zimbabwe news site for over 7yrs now offering free advice and legal advise. Her articles and advice have been well received and complimented all over the world, breaking down complex legal issues and making them easy for people to understand.
She has taken the challenge to the microphone hosting a legal advice radio show on ZimOnline Radio, a Zimbabwean community radio station. This will be a free call in show where she will be open to take calls and answer general questions relating to topics in discussion.
"Beyond immigration, I want to focus much on family law, an aspect I feel our community is not well aligned with the statutes of the law. My biggest passion is the impact of migration to our socio economic way of living as Zimbabwean and I want to take an edge to address the legal implications and consequences to ordinary people, friends and families torn apart due to migration", said the vibrant Rumbidzai.
Milicent Chanetsa who is the station Chief Operating Officer added that this will be a new dimension in community radio broadcasting with endless benefit to the members of our society,
"We have a responsibility to dynamic broadcasting that keeps our listeners holistically informed, educated and entertained as well broaden our relevance to real issues that affect a Zimbabwean within this global village. In the past, media houses only invited experts to share on remote circumstantial topics, we have decided to bring the experts in-house and are very excited at Rumbidzai Bvunzawabaya's signing on", said Milicent from her Pretoria hub.
