ZAPU To Conduct Election Post Mortem In Birmingham

On the 31st August 2013, ZAPU will be holding post elections general meeting in Birmingham, whose purpose and focus is to diagnose the proceedings of the ended plebiscite and to come up with the prognosis for the future. In what is promising to be one of the most open and vibrant discourse and robust engagement that the party has ever seen, will see people engage fully in the diagnosis of factors which led to the party's dismal performance in the general elections and coming up with recommendations and resolutions for the future success.
 
ZAPU is already looking into the future, in the meeting the people will be given an opportunity to discuss and make Resolutions with special focus on the forthcoming coming National Congress in 2015. The National Congress is the highest decision making body in ZAPU, it is responsible for the vision and strategic thrust of the party and also responsible for leadership renewal and restructuring.
"All Zimbabweans, friends of ZAPU and devolution revolutionaries of all stripes and shapes are invited to this all important meeting, which seeks to reposition ZAPU in the political landscape of Zimbabwe" Mr Christopher Maphosa the Europe PEC Chair said.
