Minister appalled by attack on Tunisian National Guards

LONDON - FCO Minister Hugh Robertson offers UK support for the resumption of the National Dialogue following attack on Tunisian National Guards
Minister for Middle East and North Africa Hugh Robertson said:
"I was appalled and saddened by news of the attack yesterday on Tunisian National Guards in Sidi Bouzid, the birthplace of the Arab Spring. I offer my condolences to the families of those killed and to the Government of Tunisia for this cowardly act of violence.
"The United Kingdom continues to offer its full support to the government and people of Tunisia in fulfilling the hopes and aspirations stemming from the historic events in Sidi Bouzid in January 2011. The UK supports the efforts currently underway by all political parties to resume the National Dialogue."
