Sodindo Banana's daughter-in-law a fraudster

Caroline Banana, daughter-in-law to Zimbabwe's first post-independence president sparked outrage when it was revealed she continued to claim benefits after winning 95 000 pounds on UK TV reality show Deal or no deal.

She received the windfall after appearing on the TV game show in 2011 and was punished in April of this year when her case went to court.

Caroline was sentenced to a 12-month community order with 200 hours of unpaid work and ordered to repay more than 6 000 pounds after admitting six counts of fraud.

Her movements were tracked and her bank accounts were trawled as well as her Facebook account to find evidence of her deceit.
