Zim woman collapses, dies preparing for son's memorial service in UK

A UK-based Zimbabwean woman who lost her son a few days before Christmas, collapsed and died on New Year's Day in Birmingham while while preparing for her son's memorial service.
According to Nehanda Radio, Mary Mututa collapsed and died on New Year's Day in the morning while preparing to attend the memorial service for her son who also collapsed and died last week (19 December).
A post-mortem says Melusi succumbed to pneumonia and meningitis. The family still awaits the post mortem results for the mother.
Melusi's body was supposed to be flown back to Zimbabwe today (Thursday), a day after the memorial service, along with several family members who were also set to travel back home for the burial in Zimbabwe.
Mourners are gathered at 48 Audley Road, Stechfold, B33 9DY.
