UK-based Zim couple held over child's death

A UK-based Zimbabwean couple was reportedly arrested in Wolverhampton, UK, on suspicion of murder following the death of their nine month old baby girl at Wolverhampton's New Cross Hospital.
The Birmingham Mail reports that the duo was "arrested at Wolverhampton police station on Wednesday (15 January) while being interviewed about the death of the baby girl on January 6, 2014."
According to Nehanda Radio the unidentified couple is of Zimbabwean origin and belong to the apostolic sect.
Apparently the couple refused to take their sick child to hospital for treatment preferring instead to follow the teachings of their religion and rely on prayer.
The baby who has also not been identified died at the New Cross Hospital shortly after being taken by ambulance from an address in the Park Village area of the city. A forensic post mortem has taken place however further tests are being carried out to determine the exact cause of death, reports the paper.
Both parents of the child, have been bailed whilst further investigations continue.
