'Prophet of doom' foretells Mugabe's death

Zimbabwe is suddenly a country surviving on prophecy so much that every aspect of the country has to wait for a prophecy before people can truly have confidence in it.

These have stretched to even sport where the results of our national teams have to wait for prophets to say if the teams will win or lose.

New kid on the block is self confessed European based 39 year old "man of God" Tichatonga Mambo who has prophesied that President Robert Mugabe will die peacefully in his sleep on Monday the 3rd of February 2014.

In a post making rounds world wide on the net and hitting news headlines, Mambo says his prophecy came in a dream and he strongly believes the dream will come true.

"The current president of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Robert Gabriel Mugabe will die on Monday, the 3rd of February 2014. Actually I had a dream on the 20th of January 2014 that Mugabe will die on his sleep."

Boldly declares the dreamer prophet.

According to Mambo, the President will die a naturally and peacefully in his sleep. There won't be any foul play around the President's death according to the dream prophecy.

"This death will not result from poisoning, gun shot, physical strangling basically there will be no foul play and it will be strictly natural death." Reads the prophecy.

As is the norm with the Zimbabwean prophets whose prophecies always have specifics such as the Zimbabwe Warriors going to beat Mali by three goals to nil, Mlambo also narrates vividly what will happen on the fateful 3rd of February 2014.

"What will happen is that on the 3rd of February 2014, Mugabe will go to sleep after spending the day as usual then eventually he will be found dead from his sleep."Speaks the very confident "prophet" Mlambo.

"I know I might be excoriated by different sections of society for divulging this impending natural death but a wider number will prove me right."

Contrary to popular fears that the day President Mugabe dies there will be chaos and maybe even arrests and blood shed, Mambo's dream predicts a rather peaceful transition as current Vice President Joice Mujuru will take over peacefully.

"According to my dream, I?m privileged to fore tell that there will be no political upheaval in Zimbabwe. Constitutionally the current deputy president, comrade Joice Teurai Mujuru will eventually jump into Mugabe's shoes, hence she will be the President up to the cessation of the current term of office of the incumbent president." Mambo advices the country and everyone around the president to remain calm on the fateful day and keep guard around the president so that they give the world a proper report of what happened to the president as per his prophecy.

"I suggest that members of the Zimbabwe National Army, CIO, CID and the Police must maintain a round the clock security around him to avoid not just misrepresentation also for the assurance of the Zimbabwean people and the whole world of accurate occurrence of that event." Mambo foresees a huge funeral for the President in the magnitude of that of Nelson Mandela.

Some media reports however, have been predicting apathy from world leaders of President Mugabe's funeral when the time for his death comes. President Mugabe is arguable the most controversial world leader with the world divide into two distinct sides, those that love him and those that don't.

"Mugabe being a prominent revolutionary and one of the chief architects of ZANU PF in 1963 will be mourned by theZimbabweans, Africa as a whole and the world over. Mugabe's funeral will be one of the largest gathering almost the same with that of Nelson Mandela."

Prophet Mambo concludes by assuring that his prophecy will definitely come true and anyone doubting his prophecy must wait until Monday the 3rd of February 2014 and prove him right.
