Strive Masiyiwa, Zimbabwe's richest man and foremost telecommunications tycoon, has just rented a $40,000-a-month luxury apartment in New York City.
According to Forbes, Masiyiwa, the founder and chairman of Econet Wireless is worth around USD $600-plus million.
His 12th-floor rental was originally asking $49,500 a month. The five-bedroom, 7½-bathroom unit is a luxurious 4,850 square feet.
According to the New York Post, the luxury apartment features a windowed chef's kitchen, a master suite with a windowed dressing area and two spa bathrooms.
