UK-based activists plot Mugabe demo

Zimbabwe's opposition parties and human rights groups will stage a demonstration in London this Saturday, demanding President Robert Mugabe and his entire Zanu-PF government resign to bring to an end the country's political and economic crisis.

Coinciding with Mugabe's 91st birthday, the protest will be held under the theme "Stop Zimbabwe falling off the cliff".

The demonstration which is going to be held outside the Zimbabwean embassy in London is going to see rights groups and political parties like Vigil, MDC, Zimbabweans United for Democracy, Zapu, Restoration of Human Rights, Zimbabwe Social Democrats, Occupy Africa Unity Square and Zimbabwe We Can, participating.
