Zanu PF United Kingdom Chapter has blasted the Nigerians for humiliating President Robert Mugabe during his visit for the Inauguration of that country's new president Muhammad Buhari after journalist pounced on him questioning as to when he will step down.

"The Head of AU Election Mission in our 2013 Elections resoundly won by President Mugabe and Zanu PF was former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo," said the chapter.

"He endorsed those elections as reflecting the will of the people of Zimbabwe."

The chapter said for an uncouth Nigerian journalist to harangue our President with unequally unschooled questions is not only wrong but discourteous.

"President Mugabe's Statecraft has ensured that Zimbabwe has never known any coups or military dictators (unlike other countries)," said the Chapter.

"He is an elder statesman deserving respect from all decorous Africans. Zimbabweans will resolve their challenges together as a people. Any attempt to humiliate our President in a foreign country is an insult to any straight thinking Zimbabwean."

Mugabe had hard time in moving with the crowd of journalists that jostled to ask him questions which some of them were seriously humiliating for an states man.

Nigerian journalist mobbed Mugabe asking him questions as to when he will step down and telling him its high time he should do so as he has ruled for more than 35 years. They openly told him that due to his over stay in power that meant there was no democracy in Zimbabwe.
