@Godifiri i guess you know the difference between a state and a nation? As well as a nation-state and a state-nation? those are basic concepts to understand the debate. If people are throwing terms haphazadly its difficult to have an informed discussion

Those who speak [Some people] are concentrated in a circle around Bulawayo, with Shona-speaking peoples beyond them on all sides—the Kalanga (Western Shona) to the southwest, the Karanga to the east around Nyanda (formerly Fort Victoria), the Zezuru to the northeast, and the Rozwi and Tonga to the north. Generations of intermarriage have to a degree blurred the linguistic division between the [Some people] and [Some people] peoples.

What most people fail to understand is that kalanga is very closely related to shona. The major difference is the use of later L and R . Kalanga a.k.a (Western shona)

You asked us what is a [Some people] but when we use the same conceptualisation you remove the term . What kind of absudity is that? You should have phrased asked : What is the difference between[some people ] and [some people] ? If you didnot want to upset your handlers by talking about [some people] Its self defeating to have a discussion where the subject of discussion is reffered as [some people without indentity]

[Some people] people were composed of three groups,AbeNguni originally from South Africa, the ruling class, Abenhla these were the Sotho and other raided small tribes, and Amahole, these were the [Some people] speaking people, the weaker ones ,they were made to work for the King and pay tribute. The Kalanga, Tonga, Venda, are part of Ma[Some people], under abenhla. It is very wrong for a leader of great nation like ours to utter such words, They must be condemned and l believe it's more than the word Kalanga, nobody can point such a small group of people. If they were that capable, they would have brought a change in Zimbabwe using such force.

To my understanding , [Some people] is a umbrella name for people who were' led by king Mzilikazi ,but I would like to encourage all Zimbabweans to unite as one nation & build our country ; pointing fingers won't take us anywhere that will trigger violence among ourselves.. Asimambaneni

All tribes that fell under the Kingdom of Mzilikazi are [Some people]s. But i think such discussions, will in future destroy that pride and unity. Shonas have never raised their identities thats why they will always conquer us under their brand.

Mina I actually I didn't such a tribe ever existed until that day when Mugabe spoke about them, cuz I hve never heard anyone admit openly that there are Kalanga. It seems there are shy of who there are.

Ama[Some people] are a mixture of tribes(Nguni, Xhosa and Sotho) brought from SA by King Mzilikazi and the tribes that were already here which iclude the Kalanga, Venda, Tonga etc. Infact the [Some people] are the tribes that occupy the Southern and Western parts of Zimbabwe

[Some people] is a mix between all the tribes that King Mzilikazi find them inside Zimbabwe during those days, then the King call everyone a [Some people] ,running away from this Mugabephobia.
