Woman in trouble for accusing auntie of witchcraft

A woman from Mzilikzai in Bulawayo is in trouble after she accused her auntie of being a witch who killed her husband.
Chipo Zvavandiita (44) pleaded not guilty to the charge of indicating witches and wizards when she appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Adeline Mbeure.
The magistrate remanded her to December 1 for trial and she is out of custody on $20 bail.
The court was told that Chipo accused her auntie Runia Ndlovu (46) of being a witch.
It is alleged that on June 29 this year at 6:30pm the two were at their home in Mzilikazi when Chipo accused Runia of being a witch and used natural means to kill her husband Stanley Maseko by taking soil he had walked in order to take their family house.
