Fight over land lands man in the dock

A man from Spring Farm in Umguza is in trouble after he allegedly seriously assaulted his neighbor in a dispute over land.
Thabiso Ngwenya (19) was not asked to plead to assault charge when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya. The magistrate remanded him to December 16.
He is alleged to have assaulted pardon Ndlovu (21) on September 1, 2016 at 2:30pm after they had a misunderstanding over land. Ngwenya who was in the company of other two accomplices who are still at large ganged up against Ndlovu and assaulted him with logs all over the body.
He sustained some injuries and a report made to the police led to Ngwenya's arrest while his yet to be identified accomplices are still at large.
