Browns Wholesale employee fined $100 for theft from work

An employee at the Browns Wholesale has been fined $100 with an option of 40 days in jailed for theft of exercise books worth $36.
Misheck Moyo (43) of Mpopoma pleaded guilty to the theft charge when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya. The magistrate convicted and fined him $100 with an option of 40 days in jail if he fails to pay.
The court heard that Moyo is employed as a security guard at the wholesale and on December 4 this year
At 7am he was at work and he stole 240 A4 exercise books and loaded the loot into a motor vehicle. The books were taken to his home where they were recovered. This led to his arrest.
