Bulawayo suspend water cuts

Bulawayo residents will have a bit of a cheer this Christmas period as the city council has hinted on suspended the punishing water shedding regime.
According to council, water shedding will be set aside from Friday.
"We have with immediate effect reduced the water shedding programme from 72 to 48 hours per week," Town Clerk Christopher Dube is quoted saying by the Chronicle.
"From Friday December 23, 2016 there would be no rationing up to the New Year. The reviewing of the programme will depend on the inflows into our dams".
Council introduced water shedding in November citing low water volumes at the supply dams.
