Police in Lupane are reported to have summoned some parents who were recently acquitted on charges of threatening Mlamuli Secondary School to the station on yet to be verified motives.
Mthwakazi Republic Party Spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo said Lupane community has been summoned by police to the station.
"The parents have been informed to report to the CID section today (Monday) at 8am. The four parents are Mbusi Nkomo, Mbonisi Khoza, Lucky Ndlovu and Thabani Sibanda," he said.
"The summons follows the arrest of 11 MRP officials including the President after the celebration party in Mlamuli."
He said in response they have instructed the parents not to go as we are still consulting their lawyer.
"As a party we thought it would not make an sense for the four parents to go to the police without the whole community since they were all working together in organising for the event," he said.
"MRP President Mqondisi Moyo is going to have a meeting with the Lawyer at 09:00am today."
