Seventy-five Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) supporters have reportedly defected to Zanu PF in Chipinge East constituency.
According to state controlled ZBC, former ZimPF members said the Joyce Mujuru fronted party has no future.
This comes as Zanu PF is mobilizing for 2018 elections.
The Zanu PF Chipinge East political leadership has strengthened its party support mobilization programme in collaboration with the Retrievers of Hope Youth Association, ZBC reported.
In their remarks, some of the former ZimPF supporters said they decided to return back to Zanu PF after realizing that the People First project had no future.
In an interview on the sidelines of the meeting, Mlambo said the revolutionary party is on a major drive to bring back its former supporters.
He also implored those entrusted in party leadership to stop corruption.
