Grace Mugabe is 'corrupt', priest says

First Lady Grace Mugabe, who is in Asia with her aging husband has come
under attack from a Roman Catholic priest in Harare over a $1, 3 million diamond
ring suggesting that she is corrupt.
President Mugabe's wife reportedly bought a diamond ring from Lebanese national Jamal Ahmed.
The ring had been meant to be Mugabe's wedding anniversary to Grace.
Grace later demanded a refund.
The year 2016 marked the 20th anniversary of the Mugabes' wedding.
According to reports, Father Rungano of St Johns Parish in Budiriro had a go at Grace's extravagant lifestyle.
He is quoted saying "There is a lot of corruption in this country and if people had love for each other we would not be seeing someone buying a ring worth millions whilst the nation is hungry.
"Bond notes also show that the level of corruption in this country has become unbearable. We are now confused and do not know what to do about it".
Despite the gradual injection of $29 million of bond notes into the market to ease the liquidity crunch since the November 28 last month, bank queues remain a constant feature with some depositors sleeping overnight outside banks in the hope of getting the elusive cash.
