Government bans food vending

Government has reportedly imposed a ban on food vending in Harare as
the capital city is battling typhoid, Bulawayo24.com has heard.
The prohibition order was announced by Government inter-ministerial task force committee today.
Two deaths have been reported in Harare out of 126 suspected and 12 confirmed cases.
A treatment camp has since been set up at Beatrice Road Infectious Diseases Hospital.
The task force comprise of Ministry of Health, Local Government, Water, Environment and Climate and Small to Medium and Co-operative Development.
