Police arrested seven Kadoma  residents for wearing camouflage attire, day's after issuing a ban.

They were picked up on New Year's eve at a nightclub, Star FM reported.

In late December, police and the army  banned the wearing of replica  attire in the wake of a reported increase in crimes committed by culprits dressed in such gear.

Camouflage has proven a popular fashion statement during the festive season.

The ban was  widened to musicians and artistes who spice up their performances by wearing military gear.
