Woman assaulted for dumping cheating lover

Twenty six year old Zenzo Ndebele from Bulilima who could not stand being dumped by his lover, Jesta Ndlovu assaulted her with a log as punishment.
According to the state case as presented by prosecutor Elisha Mazorodze that on 28 November last year, Ndlovu was fetching firewood near her house.
That was around 6pm.
Ndebele saw Ndlovu and confronted her and demanded to know why she dumped him.
"In response, Ndlovu said she had done so because Ndebele was cheating on her while they were still in a relationship" Mazorodze told the court.
The response angered Ndebele who wasted not time in assaulting Ndlovu with a log.
She sustained severe injuries.
Ndebele is in custody as he pleaded not guilty.
He is back in court on Tuesday.
