Lundi Tyamara is not dead, manager

South African gospel singer Lundi Tyamara is  very much alive and recovering at a hospital, his manager has said.

Speculation is rife today that Lundi died over night.

However, DRUM  quoted his manager Anele Hlazo, dismissed the rumours, saying: "Lundi is not dead. He is recovering well in hospital, and I just spoke to him".

Early this week, news broke out that Lundi has been fighting for his life for more than a month in a Johannesburg hospital.

He is  reportedly suffering from abdominal tuberculosis, chest pains and a liver problem.
