Man stabs drunk troublesome uncle
A man from Northend in Bulawayo allegedly stabbed his drunk uncle who came home and started tormenting him.
This was heard by a Bulawayo magistrate Manasa Musiiwa when Wesley Madongo (19) appeared before him charged with assault.
He remanded the case to January 24 for continuation.
The court heard that on December 15 2016 Madongo was at home
when his uncle Martin Madongo arrived drunk at 7pm and started shouting at his
nephew.
A misunderstanding
and the nephew went to the kitchen where he armed himself with a knife
and returned to stab his uncle several times all over the body.
He abandoned attacking
him when he fell to the ground.
The uncle sustained several injuries as a result and a report made to the police led to the arrest of the nephew.
