Businessman's wife assault small house,breaks her arm

A small house in Zvishavane sustained a broken arm and other injuries after her lovers wife bashed her for sending n*de pictures.

Sibongile Maphosa aged 40 was beaten up by Judith Mkumbuzi aged 31.

Mkumbuzi had discovered Maphosa's n*des in her husband's phone.

That was in December last year, the court heard.

The name of the man  in dispute was not given but is said to be a prominent businessman in the mining town.

Out of anger, Mkumbuzi hatched a plan to discipline Maphosa.

She got the perfect opportunity when Maphosa showed up at her shop.

She asked Maphosa if she could spare a few minutes so they could discuss private issues.

At that point Maphosa was in the dark about Mkumbuzi's intention.

They went behind the shops and Maphosa was confronted about the pictures.

Maphosa denied  having an affair with Mkumbuzi's husband and a scuffle ensured.

Maphosa was assaulted all over the body, pushed into the pit and broke her arm.

Mkumbuzi was arrested.

 In court she pleated guilty saying she acted out of anger because of Maphosa's actions.

She was slapped with a 10 months jail sentence of which five months were set aside on condition of good behavior.

For the remaining months, she will perform community service.
